A day of firsts !

Well, today started off better than I could have ever imagined... Allison fell asleep @ about 7:45pm and she slept all the way until 5:00 am !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9 hours and 15 minutes ! I was astounded !!!! Even after she woke up to eat, she fell back asleep until 8:15 am. Whew! That was so awesome... but chances are, it won't happen again anytime soon :)

Since Jody is on vacation this week, we decided to go to visit some of his favorite customers on his FedEx route in Mokena. Everyone was so excited to finally meet Allie after hearing all about her from her very proud Daddy !

Then, we stopped at Walmart and bought Allie her first pool! We had to buy the display model that was hanging from the ceiling because they were all sold out, but at least it was already blown up ... getting it in the car was another story. So, we weren't sure how she would react being as she is not a big fan of her baths, but she kinda like it, in fact, she was even kicking by the end ! I guess it helped to put in warm water from the tub :) She looked so cute in her "Hula Honey" bathing suit !!

After her swim, we decided to take Allie for her first ride in Daddy's car. He just got his '93 Mustang GT "Baby"all put back together again and we wanted to see how she would like it, Unfortunately, the infant seat is quite large, so Mommy had to sit in the back with her because the passenger seat had to be almost all the way to the dashboard !! Allie seemed to like it, the loud rumble and the vibrations :) She was even good as we went out to dinner at Beef O' Bradys and watched the sunset outside. It was such a beautiful night !.... Then on the way home, Daddy's car decided to show us up and kept stalling out. We thought we were going to need to call our neighbor Alan for a tow ! But "Baby" started back up, all three times, adn we got home safe and sound ( and Allie slept through it all !)

Tomorrow, we are going to Munster CRC's Car Show & Burger Bash. It should be a nice day and hopefully "Baby" will be good and not act up on the way to the car show :)

Allie is 12 weeks old today !! We just cannot believe it.. where has the time gone ?? It feels like we just had her yesterday and here we are, approaching the 3 month mark !! Just crazy!
